On Wednesday 9 October 2024 6.15 p.m. it is official – our former phd-student Artemis Koumoundourou is honoured with the prize for the best thesis amongst the iGrad-students finishing their thesis in 2023. The Jutta and Wilfried Trumpp Foundation honours her in a beautiful ceremony organized by the IGrad of Ulm University with a cheque of 5.000 Euro! Artemis is working today as a postdoctoral Researcher in the Laboratory of Synapse Biology of Joris de Wit at VIB Center for Brain & Disease Research in Leuven, Belgium. The prize honours not only her thesis but also her outstanding voluntary committment for TReND (Teaching and Research in Natural Sciences for Development in Africa).
